We’ll spend the day reconnecting with nature and good company on this scenic and refreshing outing.
We’ll begin with a 4-mile hike through Sky Meadows State Park, a beautiful stretch of the Virginia countryside known for its open fields and forested ridges. The route includes a peaceful walk through rolling meadows and a steady incline/decline through the woods, offering just the right mix of challenge and serenity.
After the hike, we’ll head to nearby Bluemont Vineyard to unwind. Enjoy a delicious lunch and wine paired with panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the vineyard’s charming landscape—a perfect reward after the morning’s adventure.
This is a moderate hike suitable for athletic abilities of all levels. Sneakers are acceptable shoe wear. We will hike rain or shine. Please consider a light rain jacket in case of inclement weather.
