Sandeep Patil

Anurag Sinha is an alumnus of IIT BHU, Varanasi and IIM Bangalore. He is deeply passionate about Payments and Digital Finance. Before deciding to become an entrepreneur he spent 13 years at ICICI Bank in areas of Cards & Consumer lending, Supply Chain finance, Digital Banking, Structured Finance and Stressed Assets. He scaled up various businesses in the area of Payments & Consumer Credit and also spearheaded strategically important investments for ICICI Bank's retail banking.

Anurag started his entrepreneurship journey in 2016 as a co-founder at Walnut app building up Walnut Prime, the lending business of Walnut. Walnut raised money from Sequoia Capital and SAIF Partners, scaled to more than 10 million users and got acquired in July 2018.

He launched his next venture, FPL Tech, in Feb 2019, which is on a mission to re-imagine credit and payments from first principles using technology. FPL has scaled to around 600 team members and is backed by marquee investors such as Sequoia Capital, Matrix Partners, Temasek, GIC, QED Investors, Janchor Partners & Hummingbird.
