Yusuf Ozdalga

I was born and raised in İzmir, Türkiye.

Before college, I spent a lot of time participating in physics and electronics competitions. After graduating, I founded the Eraslan School, a private bilingual K–12 school with a focus on science and language education. Today, the school serves nearly a thousand students.

In 2021, I started Midas, a retail investing platform offering access to Turkish and U.S. equities, mutual funds, and crypto. We now serve 3 million users and have raised $140 million to date. I’m currently focused on expanding our geographic footprint and building beyond investing.

I enjoy trekking, mountaineering, debating, music, and spending time with my wife and our dog, Tokyo.

I spend a lot of time thinking about accelerationism, geopolitics, techno-industries, and designing the future.
