Eric Queathem is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Velocity, the first stablecoin infrastructure company purpose-built for global CFOs and corporate treasurers. Velocity’s enterprise platform enables real-time, large-scale money movement and treasury services worldwide, helping businesses move and manage funds with greater speed, scale, and efficiency. The platform powers billions of dollars in transactions for leading payment companies, multinational corporations, and financial institutions, supporting organizations operating across markets, currencies, and borders.

Prior to founding Velocity, Eric spent nearly a decade on the executive team at Worldpay, now part of Global Payments. During his tenure, he held leadership roles across Strategy, Corporate Development, Global Partnerships, and Data. He was also responsible for incubating and scaling new businesses across the organization, combining strategic vision, commercial execution, and deep payments expertise.

Earlier in his career, Eric was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he advised global payments and fintech companies on strategy and growth. His experience informs Velocity’s mission to modernize global money movement. He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BA from the Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University. Eric lives in central London with his wife and four children.
