A visionary physicist and mathematician, Dr. Bodnia earned her Ph.D. in quantum information and algebraic topology from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), where her pioneering research bridged the gap between quantum mechanics, neural architectures, and advanced AI reasoning.

Among her doctoral dissertation advisers was Michel Devoret, a recipient of the 2025 Nobel Prize in Physics for the discovery of macroscopic quantum mechanical tunnelling and energy quantisation in an electric circuit.

While at UCSB, she initiated a collaboration with Google Quantum AI lead Hartmut Neven, securing initial grant funding for departments and collaborators to study quantum effects in the brain and advance early brain-chip development. That work inspired her pursuit of AI reasoning systems that move beyond the text-based architectures used in many large language models (LLMs).

Bodnia spent three years working in UCSB’s nanofabrication environment, developing phononic crystals for quantum experiments and chips for brain research. Her expertise in topology, the study of geometric structure and spatial relationships, has become central to how Logical Intelligence approaches vast information sets.

After winning a national nuclear-physics Olympiad in high school, Dr. Bodnia was given a CERN-linked computational project at age 16 that led to multiple publications. She later earned her undergraduate degree in physics from the University of California, Berkeley, where she studied with Robert Cahn and Daniel McKinsey. She considers Cahn, a global leader in elementary particle theory, to be her “true mentor.”

An accomplished scholar, Dr. Bodnia has authored or co-authored 22 influential academic papers across dark matter, quantum mechanics, and particle physics, establishing a seminal foundation for the next generation of intelligence.
